The KPCA is pleased to provide the following services to its members:

  • We are responsible for and maintain the entire length of Hiawatha Lane/Fire Route 49A (this is not maintained by the local government).
  • We are responsible for and maintain a parking lot- member who have water-only access to their cottages may park here all season.
  • We provide a clean sandy beach for the enjoyment of families with small children (we ask that people renting their cottage be respectful and limit the number of guests using the beach to 5 at any given time.  This is primarily an area for children.).
  • We operate a dockside recycling depot for recycling glass, plastics, paper and cardboard (this is not maintained by the local government).
  • We organize the annual Kawartha Park Regatta each July.
  • We organize an annual Corn Roast each August, a popular social event for members.
  • We liaise with other Cottage Associations and provide a unified voice on local issues affecting cottagers, including the environment.
  • We test the water quality weekly throughout July and August.
